Why have an interior designer and an interior designer is the question that pops into my head! Whenever I see a fancy interior space, why can’t we just do it by ourselves when it’s so simple and easy? I tried this in my bedroom, got it done, but it took an enormous amount of time and money. Most of the money went into procuring suitable materials. I changed materials and colors more than four times to get the combination I wanted.
What is the place of a common person in India where interiors play a vital role?
Imagine a small nuclear family consisting of four members, including children. The father, the head of the family, goes to work in the morning, works hard with a lot of pressure from management and customers. When he comes home at night, he seeks peace of mind and relaxation for his body.
But when he comes home expecting peace, if the doors make annoying noises or water leaks in the bathroom and there is no proper ventilation, he gets frustrated to the core and starts reacting badly to even small things (like kids playing or studying out loud) and sends negative signals to your family members.
Likewise, his wife loses her temper over trifles along with the children creating a great distance between them. Children start fighting with friends, start using abusive language, become aggressive and lose interest in their studies. The older ones are very inspiring to the children who tend to imitate them as role models.
Dad begins to avoid the house after the office, begins to go out with friends, which turns into parties, which, in turn, lead to the loss of health and money. Mom at home spends most of her time thinking about all the hard work she puts in to make the family happy, which is really for nothing. She delays the actual planning of monthly finances and major issues related to the children and the home.
An apple a day keeps a doctor away! An interior designer keeps all your troubles away not only for you but for your entire family!
