This may be one of the hot topics during this covid19 pandemic. Today, I have read many articles, blogs and videos, a strong health care system has excellent clinical staff who share their experiences in managing the patient. This disaster situation happens for the first time in its life to handle so many patients at one time, in other third world countries we can pick some of them from the huge number, like Pakistan, India, Afghanistan, etc., where the systems of medical care are very limited compared to the population of the nation, hospitals are always overloaded and cannot accommodate everyone in the daily routine.
The US, UK, Spain, France, Germany, Italy, and China have strong health systems that have had their system shaken due to the covid-19 pandemic. They usually handle limited patients, 90% of them are patients with insurance coverage and the rest are government liabilities, who they treat accordingly, they don’t have to face financial problems, because they have strong government backing to support .
Compared to them, we have many problems to deal with, first of all, the third world countries that are already far behind the developed and rich countries, they have social, economic, public order problems, they cannot provide coverage to ΒΌ of its citizens quality care. , but they have well-trained staff, they serve thousands of patients in their daily routine. In my experience, I have faced daily shots received during city crises in Karachi, gang wars, robberies and blind bullets are taking the lives of many, I was working in a private hospital where only patients who they could pay.
for quality care following JCIA protocols. During my training, visiting government hospitals was also part of our studies, where I have seen thousands of people, most of them cannot afford shoes and slippers, they were barefoot, they followed long queues, the victims only had open wounds and trauma apart from the fact that they treat him like a patient at the clinic and have to wait their turn.
It is not that our country never provides a basic health system to the citizens, the reason can be whatever we have. 40% of the population is illiterate or has an adequate system. Our nurses and doctors are well trained because they handle a large number of patients on a daily basis, honing their skills.
The University Hospital where I trained also recognizes my clinical experience during city crises, the assassination of former Pakistani Prime Minister Mohtarma Benzair Bhutto and other crises. I am glad that I had the opportunity to perform CPR codes with medical colleagues in the emergency department as a nurse to bring the patient back to life.
Covid 19 Pandemic has started its root in Pakistan, India and other backward countries, they are trying to stop its spread by strict lockdown, educational institutions and cults, still 2 digit people die daily, that is a controlled figure, but numbers of suspects and victims are increasing daily, nurses, doctors and other paramedics are highly motivated to deal with the situation as we believe.
“We belong to Allah and to Him we will return.”
Covid 19, we are ready to defeat you as we stand against you to protect our citizens.
