Florida is often referred to as the “Land of Vacations.” Located in the trisection of the Caribbean, the Gulf of Mexico and the United States, it is blessed with the best natural offer of the three worlds. It’s a bewildering scene for visitors planning a trip to Florida, with so much to see around every corner.
If you’re a beach goer, then Florida may be paradise in waiting, with pristine and exotic beaches packed along the winding coastline. Symbolized by their soft sand, exotic shelling, and giant surf-focused waves, Florida’s sublime beaches invite all with their unparalleled natural beauty. The best way to immerse yourself in the delights of this beach country is to stay in a vacation rental that feels like home and is just a short drive from the coast. You can even dive and fish at your leisure and even return to your vacation home for a quick bite.
Whether you’re staying on Sanibel Island, St. Augustine or Clearwater, renting a vacation home gives you double pleasure: the experience of a lifetime along with living in a beachfront home. Your romantic getaway or family gathering takes on a completely different meaning if you enjoy a moonlit sky on the beach, listening to the waves, while enjoying a home-cooked dinner. Go in-depth on a lazy weekend in the oldest established European city in the US (St. Augustine) or reveal your true self on the sparkling waters of Clearwater – a stay at your trusted vacation home makes for a rewarding experience for generations to come.
As a seasoned traveler in love with Florida, I’d like to share some tips on planning a Florida vacation…
- Vacation rental homes are a great alternative to expensive, impersonal hotels.
- The privacy and personal touch in a vacation rental home cannot be experienced in a 5-star hotel.
- Hotel rooms near popular destinations like Disney are extremely expensive and may not suit everyone’s pocket.
- As a note of caution, you should only select those vacation rental homes that are licensed by the state of Florida, which warrants an annual inspection by the Florida Division of Hotel Licensing.
- Make sure the vacation home has a child safety alarm so your child can’t get into the pool area without your knowledge.
Step back in time at a museum in historic St. Petersburg
– Take your family on a dream tour of Orlando, enjoy theme parks and exciting parks for dinner shows.
– enjoy the tropical flavor in the Florida Keys that stretches from Key Largo to Key West
– Collect gold shell souvenirs at Cocoa Beach.
Some of my best memories are from visiting Biscayne Bay National Park and Everglades National Park. Just a short drive from downtown Miami, Biscayne Bay is home to ceramic sponges, tame manatees, brown pelicans, turtles, mangroves, ferocious crocodiles and brilliant butterflies. Filled with historical wonders and a myriad of wildlife species, Biscayne Bay is made up of four perfectly protected ecosystems. But the trip of my dreams was made even more memorable with the new ‘home away from home’: the Loyalty vacation rental house in Kissimmee.
