Your ability to live by faith has nothing to do with:
Who are you, where were you born or where do you live?
The amount of money you currently have in your bank account, wallet or purse or not
you currently have in your bank account, wallet or purse.
Amount of time you have or don’t have. (Faith has no time, it is always “now” Faith. Faith is always in the present tense. – I have _____ now. I can do _____ now. I am _____ now.)
How much does something cost
It has nothing to do with your ability or inability. (Remember: faith is God’s ability to work on his behalf. If you could do it yourself, you wouldn’t have to use your faith.)
If you have planned well financially or if there has been a lack of financial planning.
I work or I don’t work.
With salary or without salary or with income or without income.
The number of educational degrees you have or lack of education. (The fishermen who walked with Jesus were men of faith, and yet they were only “fishermen” and not very educated men, yet when he sent them out to minister alone, they told Jesus that all their needs were met.)
Your five physical senses (they only relate to the physical realm and will only tell you what happens in the physical realm, but faith is of the spirit, a higher realm. You are actually living in a higher realm, not subject to the natural realm when you live by faith.)
natural restrictions. (Faith is a supernatural ability and there are no limitations with faith. If there were limitations, then we could say that God is limited, but that never will be.)
A person’s intelligence or lack thereof. (Actually, intelligence can get in the way of faith by trying to figure out how it’s going to happen. Faith works when your heart and not your head is fixed, established, trusting in the Lord.)
Your skill in any matter. (Faith is the ability of God working on his behalf).
What is the faith? Faith is the substance of things expected, necessary and desired, evidence of what your physical eyes cannot see, your security, your confirmation, your ownership of things, proof of things that are not seen, conviction of their reality, perception as a real fact of what is not revealed to the senses, leaning with all his personality on God in Christ in absolute trust and confidence in his power, wisdom and goodness.
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the certainty of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. NIV
Hebrews 11:1 NOW FAITH is the certainty (the confirmation, the title of ownership) of things [we] hope, being the test of things [we] they do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses]. GPA
Hebrews 6:12 lest you lose interest and become [spiritual] lazy, but imitators, behaving like those who by faith (by the support of their entire personality in God in Christ with absolute confidence in his power, wisdom and goodness) and by the practice of perseverance and waiting are [now] inherit the promises GPA
Faith is always now, present tense. You talk like it’s done.
Faith is a law, a spiritual law:
Novels 3:27 So where’s the boasting? It is excluded. Why law? of works? No: but by the law of faith. NIV
Faith and patience are powerful twins:
Hebrews 6:12 ….faith (by his standing of the whole personality in God in Christ in absolute faith and assurance in His power, wisdom and goodness) and by the practice of patient perseverance and waiting are [now] inherit the promises GPA
James 1:4 But be patient with his finished work, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. NIV
Acting in faith, you simply believe and act accordingly; Stay connected to the Holy Spirit and He will guide you through the entire process. How easy is that? We make spiritual things complicated and we really are more spiritual than human or carnal as God lives in us and now we are born again of the Spirit and have the ability to operate out of our spirit instead of being limited and controlled more by our intellect or what the five physical senses tell us.
How do we receive faith? We received faith from God when we were born again. Faith is a gift from God. (Romans 12:3) We have the faith of Christ Jesus. (Galatians 2:20) Faith also comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. (Romans 10:17 So listen and listen again to the Word about what you need, healing, prosperity, etc.) Building your faith by praying in the Holy Spirit. (Jude 20)
To remain in the faith or as the Word of God calls it, “firm heart”, we have to keep the doors of our heart (our belief), which are the doors of our eyes, the doors of the ears and the door of the mouth. Don’t keep looking, pay attention, don’t keep listening, and certainly don’t keep speaking the opposite of what you want by faith.
Faith is not what we see or hear. Faith is not having faith in you and faith in your faith. Faith is having faith in God, His Word and the faith He has given you, which always does His work in any situation.
The Word of God is the Word of God written and spoken to us. The Word of God, in itself, has enough power to make things happen; the Word only needs to come out of your mouth for your situation. The Word needs you to be the receiver too. So you are the spokesperson and the recipient of the faith. So don’t be so afraid that you are going to fail in your faith because it is God’s faith that He has given you as a gift, just use it. And you are not the person to make it happen or you would already be doing it with your natural ability. You are the person believer enough to speak it and act like it is done, finished. You receive it by speaking, it is already reality. Speaking only the Word of God and uttering words that mean: “I received it.” Then act like, “Okay, there it is. I’m glad it’s over. It’s done, done, done.” When we speak according to the Word of God we are not lying, even though we naturally seem to be. Can we be lying when we say what God has said about us? “We are healed by the stripes of Jesus.” No, that’s not a lie, it’s the truth about us. And we are not talking about it so that people believe that we are cured. We speak it because we know it is the truth about us or our situation.
Abraham became fully convinced in his faith to become a father when it was humanly impossible when he began to utter the name God gave him, “Abraham,” which means “Father of Nations.” When he uttered his name, “Abraham,” he was saying that he was the father of nations. He was never fully convinced of his faith that he would become a father until God changed his name and began to speak and hear it over and over again from his family, servants, etc.
thieves of faith:
Being around natural, carnal thinking people and natural, carnal speaking people will rob you of faith. They are always speaking what is, what they can see, hear, smell, taste or touch. So stay away from them and seek to be around people who think according to God’s Word, speak according to God’s Word, and act according to their faith in God’s Word. (A good example of this is Abraham. When he was still called Abram, God told him to leave family and all that was familiar to him. If he had not done this, then he would not be known as our Father of faith, Abraham. .)
Another thief of faith is always looking, listening, meditating, considering and talking about what is happening in the natural circumstances of your life. (If you want to change, you have to change what you look at, listen to, think about, consider, and talk about. If you don’t, you will only perpetuate the problem. What you focus on will expand.)
A good thing to remember in faith is to set your heart on the Word of God about a particular thing that you want to receive from God and then when the Word of God grows within you through meditation, then the problem or the need changes. or carried out; that’s the best time to talk about it. That’s when it’s easy to speak the Word despite everything and everyone who says, “That’s impossible.” Meditation plus talking about your faith brings possession. Actions of faith can sometimes mean simply speaking the Word of God or words of having received it or “It is done.” Then there are the promptings of the Holy Spirit to do a certain thing. Taking action will bring results no matter how ridiculous it may seem.
Some good examples of faith that we can meditate on to help establish our hearts in faith are: Read about Abraham, the Father of our faith, Romans 4. The Hall of Faith in Hebrews 11. And to see the New Testament Church with faith in action read the book of Acts.
To simplify faith: Faith is trust in Jesus and His finished work. How simple is that? Jesus said, “It is finished.” Now He has sat down at the right hand of the Father not because he is tired of all his work. No, he is telling us that he has done everything he has to do so that we receive everything we need and everything he has promised us. And we know that Jesus would not lie to us. Then we can say: “By the stripes of Jesus I am healed and made whole.” (1 Peter 2:24) “Jesus became very poor so that I could be rich, abundantly provided. I am rich.” (2 Corinthians 8:9) “I have been made righteous by Jesus.” (2 Corinthians 5:21)
I have listed on my website scriptures and confessions for you to speak in faith about your life “In Christ”, your prosperity, God the Father’s love for you and your health and healing.
Let’s make this confession of faith:
God has given me the gift of faith. In fact, I have the faith of Jesus. Faith is the substance of the things I hope for, need, and want. It is the evidence of what I cannot see with my physical eyes. Faith is my assurance that it is mine. Faith is the only confirmation I need to know that it is mine. Faith is the title deed of possession. Faith is proof for me that everything is done and resolved. Faith is the conviction of the reality of this thing. With faith I perceive that it is a real fact in my life regardless of what my senses tell me. With my faith I support my entire personality in God in Christ in absolute trust in God the Father, the power, the wisdom of Daddy and his goodness towards me. I live by faith and not by sight.
