A misbehaved cat may have a medical condition
If your cat is not behaving properly, she may have a medical condition; this will require attention. You may not know it, but many cats that exhibit behavior problems are often suffering from some type of illness. For example, a cat that has had diabetes for a while will drink a lot of water and urinate everywhere almost constantly. Although this may seem like a behavioral problem to a pet owner who is unaware of their cat’s medical problem, it is a serious fact that the cat cannot help unless it receives proper treatment.
Use spray water bottles to help train your cat
This is a good technique. However, don’t get too happy with the trigger. Your only goal is to give your cat a light squirt every time you see him doing something wrong. Although it is you who throws the water, he does not realize it. All your cat knows is that every time he approaches the couch he feels jets of water hitting the side of his head or body.
Sterilize your cat for better behavior
The truth is that cats that fight a lot are like that simply because they haven’t been neutered. When females are not pregnant, they are in heat practically non-stop. The males, on the other hand, are constantly looking for a mate. These two combinations will undoubtedly cause a lot of friction and fighting. However, once a wild cat has been captured and neutered, this fight stops.
