If I had to choose only one factor I thought
was more important in a successful exercise or
weight loss program, would be to exercise first
morning thing – every morning! Some mornings
you may be able to fit in a 10 minute walk,
but it is important to try to do something every
Tomorrow.
So why the mornings?
1. More than 90% of people who exercise * constantly *,
morning exercise. If you want to exercise
the odds are consistently in your favor if you exercise
The first thing in the morning.
2. When you exercise early in the morning,
“Kicks Up” Your Metabolism and Keeps It Elevated
for hours, sometimes up to 24 hours. That means
you’re burning more calories throughout the day alone
because you worked out in the morning!
3. When you exercise in the morning, you will be
* energized * for the day! I personally feel
dramatically different in the days when I have and
I have not exercised in the morning.
4. Many people find that morning exercise
“regulates” their appetite for the day – they
they are not so hungry and they make better food
options. Several people have told me that it gets
them in a “healthy mindset”.
5. If you exercise around the same time every
in the morning, and ideally you wake up around the same time
time on a regular basis, your body’s endocrine system
the circadian system and rhythms adjust to that.
Physiologically, some wonderful things begin to
happen; A couple of hours before you wake up
your body begins to prepare for wakefulness and exercise
because it “knows” what is about to happen. Why?
Because it “knows” that you do the same almost
every day. You benefit from that in a number of ways …
a) It is MUCH easier to wake up. When you wake up
at different times every day, confuse your
body and is therefore never really “ready”
To wake up.
b) Your metabolism and all the hormones involved
in activity and exercise begin to raise
as you sleep. So you feel more
alert, energized and ready to exercise when
you wake up.
c) Hormones prepare your body for exercise by
regulate blood pressure, heart rate, blood
flow to muscles, etc.
6. For many people, that appointed time every
the morning becomes something they look forward to.
It’s time for them to step aside to do something
good for themselves – to take care of their body,
mind and soul. Many find it to be a great time
think clearly, pray, plan your day or just
mentally relax.
7. Research has shown that exercise
increases mental acuity. On average it lasts
Four to ten hours after exercise! It makes no sense in
Wasting that brain power while you sleep 🙂
8. Exercising first thing in the morning is really
the only way to ensure that something else is not
exclude exercise from your schedule. When your days
Get agitated, exercise usually takes a back seat!
9. If you find it difficult to find time to exercise,
anyone can get up 30 to 60 minutes early to
exercise (if it is a priority in your life). Yes
necessary, you can go to sleep a little earlier.
In addition, research has shown that people who
regular exercise has a higher quality
of sleep and therefore require fewer hours of sleep!
10. You will feel BIG! SHOULD! 🙂
